Terms and Conditions


Prices.

Prices are per person per night based on two people sharing a twin or double room unless otherwise stated. If you have booked and paid for evening meals and subsequently not taken no refund will be given.

Deposits.

A non-refundable deposit of £20 per double/twin room for bookings up to 2 nights, 3 or more more nights £50, single room £10/£20. Preferred payment by debit/credit card

Payments.

The balance of payments due prior to departure may be paid by our preferred method of debit/credit card or cash. Cheques are only accepted with prior arrangement and must be accompanied with a valid bank card. All cheques to be made payable to "The Bluebell Guest House".

Cancellation.

Your reservation is made with Linda & Trevor Southam, trading as "The Bluebell Guest House" ("") and represents a legally binding contract between you and The Guest House. In the event of cancellation or curtailment of your stay, regrettably the deposit and full cost of the reserved accommodation will be charged unless the accommodation is re-let. We will make every effort to re-let the accommodation. Should a refund be appropriate a charge of 12% will be deducted from the remaining balance for administration costs.

Arrivals / Departure.

Your accommodation will be available by 12 noon (unless you have made prior arrangements). We will not accept arrivals after 4pm unless by prior arrangement. On the day of departure we ask that you vacate the room by 10am.

Smoking Policy

Please refer to our Smoking Policy in the booklet situated in each room. All bedrooms are NON-SMOKING and any bedrooms tainted by residual tobacco odours will be specially cleaned and aired over a 24 hr period and all charges resulting from this, both actual and loss of business (at prevailing b&b rates) will be charged for.

The management reserves the right to refuse entry, any abusiveness, or disruptive behaviour will result in the management requesting your immediate departure with no refund. Any damage to the property or fixtures and fittings will be charged for.
We reserve the right to amend the above terms and conditions without notice at any time.
